    Living at Home.
    First Year ... £171 per annum. ... Plus Lodging-allowance, £30 per annum.

  1. Adult Apprentices.--(i) For ex-overseas servicemen, or ex-home servicemen with long military service or who can establish loss of opportunity, or hardship owing to military service, the following scale will normally apply :-

First Year ... £330 per annum.
Second Year ... £345 ...
Third Year ... £365 ...
Fourth Year ... £375 ...
Fifth Year ... £385 ...

(ii) There is no standard scale for civilian adult apprentices. Rates will be fixed by the Public Service Commission on the merits of each case.

(iii) Apprentices on attaining twenty-one years of age are paid adult allowance to bring total remuneration up to £300 per annum.

(iv) Married apprentices receive married man's allowance to bring total remuneration to £331 per annum.
