Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
an automatic-telephone exchange; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of
September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

Approximate area of the piece of land taken : 4·41 perches.
Being part Lot 18, D.P. 4454, Township of Brighton View
Extension No. 4, and being part Section 2A, Duncan Settlement.
