Easement Over Land at Kai-Iwi Taken for the Purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway over the land described in the Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King the full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct, use, and maintain a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses and other animals or vehicles, over the said land; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is taken: 12·4 perches.
Being part Kai-Iwi 6n 2.
Situated in Block XV, Nukumaru Survey District, Waitotara County. (S.O. 21878.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9913, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of August, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the North Auckland Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood.
Being part Allotment E. 62, Wairau Parish.
Situated in Block XII, Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County. (S.O. 35357.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9928, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of August, 1949.

Land and an Easement Over Land in Block VIII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, Taken for a Quarry

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry; and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the said quarry, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
