Land in the Nelson Land District Acquired for a Permanent State Forest

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921–22, for the purposes of a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 624 acres 3 roods 29 perches, more or less, being part of Section 17, Square 4, and part of Section 7, Block VI, Gordon Survey District, and being the balance of the land in certificates of title, Vol. 76, folio 117, and Vol. 101, folio 101 (Nelson Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/74, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Tapanui Borough, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 12, Block III, Town of Tapanui, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 58, folio 57 (Otago Registry). As the same is delineated on plan No. 204/64, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Otago plan S.O. 959 Tn.)

EVIDENCE of the loss of memorandum of lease No. 11227 affecting that parcel of land containing 372 acres and 7 perches, more or less, being Section 100, Parish of Awhitu, being (now) part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 902, folio 132, whereof GUY MILLETT, of Orua Bay, Farmer, is the lessee, having been lodged with me, notice is hereby given of my intention to register a surrender of the said Lease No. 11227 without production of the outstanding duplicate thereof in terms of section 40 of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, on the 9th day of September, 1949.
