Land Held for Broadcasting Purposes (Transmitter-site) Set Apart for Housing Purposes in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for broadcasting purposes (transmitter-site), is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land set apart :—

A. R. P. Being
5 0 12 Part Allotment 17, D.P. 20823, Parish of Titirangi; coloured yellow.
0 1 0 Lot 35, D.P. 15528, being part Allotment 17, Parish of Titirangi; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XV, Waitemata Survey District (City of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29227.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97287, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of July, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for broadcasting purposes (studio site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

Land Taken for the Purpose of a Pleasure-ground in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a pleasure-ground, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
