Revoking Portion of a Proclamation Taking Land for Defence Purposes in Block III, Punakitere Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of the eighth day of the same month, at page 256, taking land for defence purposes in Block III, Punakitere Survey District, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1949.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District

and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Mohaka Ic 3 and Ic 2 Blocks, Block XII, Mohaka Survey District, Mohaka 51A, 48E, 45, 29, 18B 2, 18B 3, 18B 4, 18B 5, 34, 26, 27, and 23 Blocks, closed road, Mohaka 41, 22, and 32 Blocks, Block IX, Waihua Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said Gisborne-Napier, via Hangaroa Main Highway opposite the south-eastern boundary of the Mohaka 25 Block, Block IX, Waihua Survey District, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. All in the Hawkes Bay Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129044, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon delineated by a line drawn in red and marked A—B.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 34 perches.Being part of Section 5.

Situated in Block VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District (Hawkes Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2343.)

In the Hawkes Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129043, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1949.

Land Proclaimed as Street in the Borough of Blenheim

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as street:

A. R. P. Being 0 0 0·12 Part Lot 1, D.P. 1377, being part Section 2, District of Omaka. 0 0 36·54 Part Lot 1, D.P. 1377, being part Section 2, District of Omaka.

Situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Borough of Blenheim (Marlborough R.D.). (S.O. 3927.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129244, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XII, Mohaka Survey District, and Block IX, Waihua Survey District, viz., a Deviation of the Gisborne-Napier, via Hangaroa Main Highway (Mohaka River Bridge-Mohaka Township Section)

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block XII, Mohaka Survey District, and Block IX, Waihua Survey District, viz., a deviation of the Gisborne-Napier, via Hangaroa Main Highway (Mohaka River Bridge-Mohaka Township Section), shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall affect the land within a distance of ten chains on either side of the said middle-line.

SCHEDULE

COMMENCING at a point on the Gisborne-Napier, via Hangaroa Main Highway, opposite the south-western boundary of Mohaka Ic 3 Block, Block XII, Mohaka Survey District, at the left bank of the Mohaka River, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 5 miles 5 chains,

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1949.
