Leasehold Estate in Land in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District
Taken for a Public Works Depot

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Thomas Colton, of Greymouth, County Foreman, as administrator of the estate of Norah Colton, of Greymouth, Widow, deceased, under and by virtue of Occupation Lease recorded in Volume 35, folio 49 (Westland Land Registry), is hereby taken for a public works depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 1 acre 2 roods 8 perches.
Being Section 3013, Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 1469.)

In the Westland Land District as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129327, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of July, 1949.

Estate or Interest in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Gravel-pit
in Block VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the First Schedule hereto held by Richard Alfred Harding Withers, of Tutira, Farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease under Part III of the Land Act, 1924, and amendments, recorded in the Register-book, H.B. Volume 98, folio 43, Hawkes Bay Land Registry, and that the estate or interest in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto held by Alexander David Turnbull, of Kaiwaka, Farmer, under and by virtue of Occupation Licence issued on the purchase on deferred payments of any land under sections two and three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, pursuant to section ninety-eight of the Land Act, 1924, recorded in the Register-book H.B. Volume 107, folio 129, Hawkes Bay Land Registry, are hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the above-mentioned leasehold estate is taken: 4 acres 0 roods 3 perches.
Being part Section 6; edged orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the above-mentioned estate or interest is taken: 1 acre 1 rood 24.9 perches.
Being part Section 5; edged blue.

All situated in Block VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District (Hawkes Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2324.)

In the Hawkes Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128433, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1949.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto held by Alexander David Turnbull, of Kaiwaka, Farmer, under and by virtue of Occupation Licence issued on the purchase on deferred payments, of any land under sections two and three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, pursuant to section ninety-eight of the Land Act, 1924, and recorded in the Register-book, H.B. Volume 107, folio 129, is hereby taken for the purposes of road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the above-described estate or interest is taken: 34 perches.
Being part of Section 5.

Situated in Block VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District (Hawkes Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2343.)

In the Hawkes Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129043, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1949.
