Revoking Appointment of Officer for the Purposes of the Food and Drugs Act, 1947

Pursuant to the Food and Drugs Act, 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrant of the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, published in the Gazette on the third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, at page 354, whereby Joseph Ernest Sargent Findon was appointed an officer for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 17th day of January, 1949.

Members of Masseurs Registration Board Appointed

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Masseurs Registration Act, 1920, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint--

Alexander Gillies, M.B., Ch.B. (Edin.), F.R.C.S. (Edin.), M.Ch. (Orth.), Joan Carita McGrath, and Patricia Andrews to be members of the Masseurs Registration Board under the aforesaid Act from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 18th day of January, 1949.

Sister (temp. Charge Sister) R. M. Simpson is granted a short-service commission for a period of one year as from 14th December, 1948, in the rank of Charge Sister, with seniority from 7th September, 1948, and is seconded for duty to R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Ohakea. Dated 14th December, 1948.

OFFICERS CEASING TO BE SECONDED TO THE 2ND NEW ZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCE

Captain B. T. Poananga, and is reposted to the N.Z. Regular Force with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 12th December, 1944. Dated 4th January, 1949.

Captain S. R. McKeon, and is reposted to the N.Z. Regular Force with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 12th December, 1944. Dated 14th January, 1949.
