Proclaiming Maori Land to Have Become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Maori Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 102 acres 2 roods, more or less, called or known as Waituhi-Kuratau 4b 2A 1 Block, situate in Block III, Maungaku Survey District, County of Taumarunui, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland, under No. M.L. 16692 (red), and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of June, 1949.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 30·32 perches.
Being Lot I, Deposited Plan 14391, and being part Section 96, Hutt District, and being also part of the land comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 127, folio 126, and Volume 229, folio 90, Wellington Land Registry.
Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of June, 1949.

ALL that land in the Wellington Land District, Taumarunui County, comprising an area of 6,055 acres 2 roods, more or less, situated in Blocks V and VI, Waimanu Survey District, Blocks III and IV, Tongariro Survey District, Blocks VIII and IX, Puketi Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Pihanga Survey District, called or known as Waimanu 2G, Section 3.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1949.

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 rood 15·8 perches.
Being Subdivisions 19 and 20, formerly Lot 7, D.P. 2591, and part Lot 31, D.P. 1347, being part Section 165, Gisborne Suburban.
Situated in the Borough of Gisborne (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4458.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129097, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 14th day of June, 1949.
