PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown Land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a further portion of the South Island Main Trunk Railway; and that the Crown Land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road-diversions in connection therewith, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
