Notice of Intention to Take Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ellerslie Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1925, to execute certain public works—namely, the provision of a refuse tip and other public facilities as are from time to time deemed upon by the Council—on the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto, and for the purpose of such public works the land is hereby given notice that it is required to be taken and notice is hereby given that a plan of the said piece of land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk, situated at the Council Chambers, Ellerslie, and at the office of H. A. Stalker, Solicitor, 7th Floor, Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said piece of land who have any well-grounded objections to the said execution or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same to the office of the County Council, situated in the Council Chambers, Ellerslie, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Ellerslie.

All that piece of land situate in the Borough of Ellerslie containing by admeasurement 10 acres and 35 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 14262, Lot 226 on Deposited Plan No. 17333, Auckland, and part of Allotment 27 of Section 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland, which piece of land is part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 655, folio 106 of the Register-book at Auckland, dated the 23rd day of May, 1949.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL

Notice of Intention to Take Land for a Road and to Close Part of a Road

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the Sandy Bay Road—and for the purposes of such public work to take the lands described in the First Schedule hereto and to close the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Notice is hereby given that a plan (Survey Office No. 33808) of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at the Council Chambers, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the said execution or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same to the office of the County Council, situated in the Council Chambers, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, on or before the 1st day of June, 1949.
