Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Hastwell Domain

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1949

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Arnold Ashworth,
Alva Stacey Reed Foote,
Arthur Graham Thorby,
Tutanekai Jonah Manihera, and
Cecil Barondon Seymour

to be the Hastwell Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Hastwell Hall, Hastwell, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

James Bishop Wardlaw,
Montague William King,
Charles Paxton Wylde,
John Fisher Boynton,
Gordon Hewitt,
John Cain, and
Norman Fredrick Potter

to be the Waimana Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Waimana School, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of Portions of a Reserve in Block VIII, Purua Survey District, North Auckland Land District

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto form portions of a reserve duly set apart for sites for public buildings, or other purposes of the General Government:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such lands shall be changed to a reserve for railway purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of those portions of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for sites for public buildings, or other purposes of the General Government to a reserve for railway purposes.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas in the Kamo Town District situated in Block VIII, Purua Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 2 roods 18·2 perches, more or less, being parts of Section 80, Village of Kamo, as shown on the plan numbered 35051, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23/906, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red (North Auckland plan 35051).

Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1949

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for public purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves in Block V, Leeston Survey District, and Block VIII, Selwyn Survey District, Canterbury Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1949

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation as and for reserves for the public service of the Province of Canterbury over the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 19·2 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 4383, situated in Block V, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road (Selwyn and Lake Road), 548 links; towards the south-east by Rural Section 4105, 250 links; towards the south-west by Part of Rural Section 4383, 548 links; and again towards the north-west by part of Rural Section 4383, 250 links.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being part of Rural Section 4516, situated in Block VIII, Selwyn Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road (Harris Street), 200 links; towards the south-east by Lot 1 of Deposited Plan 5458, 250 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by part of Rural Section 4516, 200 links and 250 links, respectively.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/2897B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
