P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-
seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for
the purposes of a mental hospital, is hereby set apart for road;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-nine.
