Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-four of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Main Highways Board, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the construction of a motor-way between the City of Auckland and the City of Hamilton, such motor-way to skirt that portion of the Borough of One Tree Hill known as Penrose, and the Boroughs of Papatoetoe, Papakura, and Hunty.

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Napier Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty-five feet.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Hawkes Bay Land District, Borough of Napier, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 0-8 perches, more or less, being part of the Ahuriri Lagoon Reserve; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128810, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Upper Hutt, to be known as Ventura Avenue, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 11-14 perches, more or less, being part of the land shown on Plan A/2350, being part of Section 120, Hutt District. Also those proposed streets in the said land district and borough, to be known as Hudson Avenue, Whitley Avenue, and Oxford Crescent, together containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 39-7 perches, more or less, being part of the land shown on Plan A/2350, being part of Sections 120 and 121, Hutt District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128974, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of McDonald Road in the Southland County, to be County Road

Pursuant to section one hundred and twelve of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
All that portion of road in the Southland Land District, Southland County, known as McDonald Road, adjoining Sections 42 and 44, Block I, Lindhurst Hundred, commencing at the southern boundary of the said Section 44 and proceeding thence, due north, for a distance of 1900 links, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127940, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Approximate area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 55 acres. Being part Lot 25, D.P. 115, being part Section 63. Situated in Block VI, Mabel Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5578.)
