ALL that area in the County of Franklin situated in Block X, Drury Survey District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 32 perches, more or less, being Allotment 124, Puni Parish (being formerly part Allotments 7 and 8 of Suburban Section 1, Puni Parish). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/318A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (North Auckland Plan S.O. 35273).

Recreation Reserve in the South Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the South Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Rangiaohia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

ALL that area in the County of Waipa situated in Block VII, Puniu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 16·5 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 35050, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part Allotment 194, Parish of Puniu. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1225, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Constitution of Rural Fire District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1949
Present :
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby constitute and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a rural fire district, to be known as the “Tawhai Rural Fire District”; and doth hereby specify the trees and other plants on State forests in the said area as the property for the protection of which the district is constituted; and doth hereby specify the period between the first day of November in any one year and the thirtieth day of April in the following year (both days inclusive) as a closed fire season in the said district; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into force and that the Tawhai Rural Fire District shall become a rural fire district on the day following publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette; and doth hereby prescribe that the said Tawhai Rural Fire District shall be administered for the purposes of the said Act by the Commissioner of State Forests.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
Tawhai Rural Fire District
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County, containing approximately 37,000 acres, situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Reefton Survey District, Blocks IV and VIII, Mawheraiti Survey District, and Blocks I, II, III, V, VI, VII, X, and XI,
Waitahu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by the left bank of the Inangahua River to a point due east of Trig. Station “Q” in Block XI, Waitahu Survey District; thence towards the south-west, south-east, and again towards the south-west by a leading ridge to Trig. Station “P” in Block X, Waitahu Survey District; towards the south-west by a right line in a north-westerly direction to Big River Road, and by that road to its junction with Quigley’s Track; towards the south-east and south-west by Quigley’s Track to the watershed between Sawyer’s Creek and Furmister Creek, and by that watershed to the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block V, Waitahu Survey District; towards the west, south, and east by Section 1, Block V aforesaid, to the aforementioned watershed; towards the south-west by that watershed, and the watersheds between Sawyer’s Creek and Big River and Antonio’s Creek and Adamstown Creek and towards the north-west by the left bank of the Mawheraiti River and the Greymouth-Reefton Railway Reserve. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/46, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Hawkes Bay Land District, Hawkes Bay and Waipawa Counties, containing approximately 13,600 acres, situated in Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Wakarara Survey District, and Blocks I, V, and IX, Maraekakaho Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east by parts of Block 39, Maraekakaho Crown Grant District, Block V, Maraekakaho Survey District, Lot 1 on Deeds plan 466, and part of Block 3, Gwavas Crown Grant District; towards the east generally by the eastern side of the Kereru-Tikokino Road; towards the south-west by the crossing of a road, Section 4, Gwavas Settlement, Block XII, Wakarara Survey District, and the Mangamate Stream; towards the south-east by Section I, Gwavas Settlement; towards the south-west by Lot 4 on Deeds plan 156, being formerly part of Block I, Gwavas Crown Grant District; towards the south by a right line from the south-western corner of Lot 4 aforesaid, due east to the eastern boundary of Block 76, Wakarara Crown Grant District; towards the west by Block 76 aforesaid and Block 72, Wakarara Crown Grant District; towards the south by the southern side of a road; towards the north-west by the crossing of a road, Blocks 77 and 82, Wakarara Crown Grant District; thence by a right line from the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block to the south-western corner of Kereru Bush Rural Section 29; thence by that Section and Kereru Bush Rural Sections 1 to 14, Block 87, Wakarara Crown Grant District, and by the Poporangi Stream and towards the north-east generally by Kereru Bush Rural Sections 19 and 28, the western side of a road, the crossing of a road, the northern side of a road, and by part of Section 4s, Parinui Settlement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 79/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
