LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES
EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of the outstanding duplicate of certificate of title, Vol. 37, folio 174 (Marlborough Registry) in the name of NORMAN RANDAL McMURTRY, of Blenheim, Auctioneer, for Lot 2 on deposited plan No. 1300, being part of Section 4, District of Omaka, borough of Blenheim, containing 39·46 perches, and application (K. 3868) having been made for the issue of a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such new certificate of title on the expiration of fourteen days from the 21st April, 1949.

THE business known as “The First Aid Supply Company,” Napier Building, Dalton Street, Napier, hitherto carried on by Mr. D. G. HALLETT in association with Messrs. A. E. ANSELL and R. H. LAMBERT, will henceforth be operated, in conjunction with the wholesale business known as “Hallett Bros. and Hunter,” solely by Messrs. D. G. and C. P. HALLETT. The business will, in the meantime, trade under the same name and from the same address as first stated above.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, for a substation site at The Terrace, in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or the taking of such land, should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement 24·12 perches, more or less, being part of Section 485, Town of Wellington, being part of the land in deposited plan No. 10559, as the said piece of land is more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 21764, and thereon coloured blue.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership subsisting between us the undersigned DAVID LESLIE and DAVID BOYD LESLIE carrying on business at Dunedin as Accountants and Company Secretaries under the style of “David, Leslie, and Co.” has been dissolved by mutual consent. The said DAVID LESLIE has retired from the firm and all debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said DAVID BOYD LESLIE who will continue to carry on the said business under the name of “David Leslie and Co.”
