fence; thence north-westerly along that fence to the rabbit-proof
fence along the Kirkliston Range, and southerly by that fence to and
along the fence, passing through Trig Stations W and S, Block VI,
Dalzell Survey District, and along the fence continuing through
Trig V, Block V, Dalzell Survey District, Trig I, Block XII, Hewlings
Survey District, and continuing westerly along that fence passing
near Trig G, Block VII, Hewlings Survey District, and passing near
Trig N, Block VI, Hewlings Survey District, to a point on the
boundary between Mackenzie and Waimate Counties on the left
bank of the Waitaki River, such point being the place of commence-
ment.

site).

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Main Road in the Town
District of Takaka

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
March, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
P URSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the
Takaka Town Board to lay off the proposed street described in the
Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than
sixty-six feet, but not less than forty-nine feet six inches.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Nelson Land District, Town District
of Takaka, containing by admeasurement 30 perches, more or less,
being Lot 8A, D.P. 1484, and being part Section 19, District of
Takaka, Block X, Waitapu Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128436, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
P URSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public
Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Levels
County, being an unnamed road commencing at the Mackenzie
Country Road and proceeding in a north-westerly direction for a
distance of approximately 7 chains, adjoining part Lot 2, D.P. 2163,
being part of Rural Section 10664, Rural Sections 20407 and 37540,
and part Rural Section 16863, situated in Block III, Pareora Survey
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 128535, deposited in the office of the Minister of

P URSUANT to section one hundred and thirty of the Soil
Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth
hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the third day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the
New Zealand Gazette of the fourth day of the same month at page 1162,
directing that all watercourses within the Wairarapa Catchment
District, whether natural or constructed or hereafter to be con-
structed together with all machinery and appliances used therewith,
shall be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the
Wairarapa Catchment Board on and after the fourth day of
September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
