HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Takapau Survey District, containing by admeasurement three hundred and fourteen (314) acres, part of Rakaiatai No. 1 Block, being Lot 3, Deposited Plan No. 7528, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 66, folio 155 (Hawke's Bay Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XIII, Takapau Survey District, containing by admeasurement nine hundred and fifty-two (952) acres, part of Rakaiatai No. 1 Block, being Lot 4, Deposited Plan No. 7528, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 106, folio 220 (Hawke's Bay Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XVI, Norsewood Survey District, containing by admeasurement three hundred and sixty-three (363) acres two (2) roods, being part of the Otanga and Te Ohu Blocks, being Lot 5, Deposited Plan No. 7528, and being all the land in certificate of title, Vol. 75, folio 230 (Hawke's Bay Registry).

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 18th day of December, 1930, and published in Gazette No. 90 of the 23rd day of the same month, at page 3908, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Whakatohea Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Wairariki Maori Land Court District, containing 58 acres 1 rood 18 perches, more or less, called or known as Opape 3A Balance IB 3, and situate in Block V, Waiawa Survey District.
Dated at Wellington, this 6th day of February, 1948.

The Industry Licensing (Fruit and Vegetable Canning) Revocation Notice 1948
Pursuant to the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Industries and Commerce, do hereby give notice as follows:-
- This notice may be cited as the Industry Licensing (Fruit and Vegetable Canning) Revocation Notice 1948.
- This notice shall come into force on the day following notification hereof in the Gazette.
- The Industry Licensing (Fruit and Vegetable Canning) Notice 1940* and the Industry Licensing (Fruit and Vegetable Canning) Notice 1940, Amendment No. 1β , are hereby revoked.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
J. Kay, care of Mr. Cleaves, Highbury Corner, Birkenhead, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed garage and service-station premises at the corner of Raymond Street and Point Chevalier Road, Auckland.
Goldline Engineering Co., Ltd., 19 Wakefield Street Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 28 Wakefield Street, Auckland.
Takapuna Engineering Co., Ltd. (by Lovegrove, George, and Turner, Barristers and Solicitors, Takapuna,) has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed outside garage premises at 271 Lake Road, Takapuna, Auckland.
Morrow Motors, Ltd., 2 Morrow Street, Newmarket, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 2 Morrow Street, Newmarket.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 26th February, 1948, submit any written evidence and representation they may desire to tender.
