NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between HENRY LEWIS ELLIOT PETERS and PHILIP JAMES STOKES, carrying on business as General Cleaners at New Plymouth under the style or firm name of "The De Luxe Cleaning Company," has been dissolved as from the 27th day of November, 1948, the said HENRY LEWIS ELLIOT PETERS having retired from the business. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said PHILIP JAMES STOKES, who will continue to carry on the said business.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
TAKE notice that the partnership heretofore existing between JACK BARCLAY FLEMING, of Otahuhu, Slaughterman, and RALPH PIPER McCACKEN, of Remuera, Slaughterman, trading in partnership as Slaughtermen at the Municipal Abattoirs, Rotorua, is hereby by mutual consent dissolved as from the 31st day of October, 1948.
The partnership business will continue to be carried on by the said JACK BARCLAY FLEMING at the same address, and all accounts owing to or by the partnership must be paid or rendered to the said JACK BARCLAY FLEMING.

TARARUA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
Akitio Renewal Loan, 1948, £5,860
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Tararua Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £5,860 (to be known as 'Akitio Renewal Loan, 1948'), authorized to be raised by the Tararua Electric-power Board in New Zealand by special order under the above-mentioned Act and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling, for the redemption at maturity of the outstanding liability in respect of the Akitio County Reticulation Loan, 1938, £40,000, the said Tararua Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 11/50ths (eleven-fiftieths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in that portion of the rating area of the Tararua Electric-power District comprising the following special rating area—namely, the Akitio County as defined in the New Zealand Gazette No. 21 of 23rd March, 1922, and more particularly in the New Zealand Gazette No. 28 of 7th April, 1938, at page 893; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Tararua Electric-power Board held on the 17th day of December, 1948.
