SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
All that parcel of land situated in Blocks V, VI, VIII, and IX,
Corwar Survey District, containing four hundred and three (403)
acres and one (l) rood, more or less, being Lot 1 on plan deposited
in the Land Registry Office as No. 12428, and being Rural Sections
7312 and 18985 and part of Rural Section 15548, and being the
whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 482, folio 149
(Canterbury Registry).

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture of Paua (Haliotis iris) Shell for Sale
D. M. Ryan and C. E. Bagnall, 146 Ponsonby Road, Auckland,
have applied for a licence to manufacture paua shell for sale.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
A. Morrison and J. Neill, 3 Onepu Road, Wellington, have
applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be
installed outside garage premises at 3 Onepu Road, Wellington.
Franklin Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Tuakau, has applied
for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on
dairy factory premises at Tuakau.
T. R. Craill, Main Road, Te Karaka, has applied for a licence
to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside garage
premises at Main Road, Te Karaka.
J. S. Allen, 214 Great South Road, Manurewa, has applied for
transfer to himself of motor-spirits retail licence in respect of one
pump installed at garage premises at 214 Great South Road,
Manurewa, and to move the pump to a new position outside the
garage.
N. W., R. S., and J. W. Andrews (trading as "Car and Truck
Services"), 254 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, have applied
for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump already installed
in open yard of service-station premises at 254 Gloucester Street,
Christchurch.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry
on these applications should, not later than 13th January, 1948,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary,
Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

I HEREBY acknowledge receipt of the following amounts forwarded
by persons unknown as conscience-money to the New Zealand
Government:-

Claims by Late Enemy Nationals of Italy, Roumania, Bulgaria,
and Hungary Against New Zealand Nationals or Residents
WHEREAS by Regulation 7 of the Treaties of Peace Regulations
1948 (hereinafter called the said regulations), it is provided
that no person shall pay any debt to, or pay or settle any claim by,
or complete any contract relating to real or personal property in
New Zealand with a late enemy national of any of the above-named
late enemy States (including, as well as individual nationals of any
such State, all corporations and associations organized under the
laws of any such State) if such debt, claim, or contract was owing,
or arose, or was entered into prior to the signing on behalf of the
late enemy State, of which the creditor, claimant, or contracting
party is a national, of an armistice with the Allied and Associated
Powers which were at war with such late enemy State (being the
respective dates set out below) otherwise than through the Public
Trustee in terms of the said regulations; and that no person shall
have any communication with a late enemy national to whom any
such debt is owing, or by whom any such claim is made, or who is a
party to any such contract, which has reference directly or
indirectly to such debt, claim, or contract, except through or by
leave of the Public Trustee: And whereas the dates of the signing
of the armistices hereinbefore referred to are:-
(a) Of the armistice with Italy, the 3rd day of September,
1943:
(b) Of the armistice with Roumania, the 12th day of September,
1944:
(c) Of the armistice with Bulgaria, the 28th day of October,
1944:
(d) Of the armistice with Hungary, the 20th day of January,
1945.
Now, therefore, pursuant to Regulation 8 of the said regulations,
every person against whom any late enemy national (as above
defined) of any of the above-named late enemy States has a claim
for debt or under contract or otherwise of the nature mentioned
above is hereby called upon and required to furnish the Public
Trustee, Lambton Quay, Wellington, forthwith with full particulars of such debt, claim, or contract, and to surrender forthwith
to the Public Trustee all papers or documents in any way relating
thereto.
