Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and not Required
for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land,
subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
1 rood 11·4 perches.
Being Lot 4, D.P. 10084, being part Allotment 51, Titirangi Parish.
Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District (Borough of
Mount Albert) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35085.)
In the North Auckland Land District : as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128195, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of December,
1948.

Land and Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for Waterworks in Block
VIII, Opaheke Survey District, Franklin County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the lease-
hold estate held from His Majesty the King by Roy Leith Milne,
Alex Robertson Milne, and Collin Hector Milne, under and by
virtue of Occupation Licence with Right of Purchase No. 1925
registered in Volume 108, folio 209, Auckland Land Registry, in
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby taken
for waterworks, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned ;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the twenty-ninth day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-eight.
