His Excellency The Governor-General In Council
Pursuant to the powers vested in him by section six of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the access-way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Lynn and be under the control and management of the New Lynn Borough Council.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the access-way dealt with: 10-3 perches. Being parts Lots 3 and 7, D.P. 31220, being parts Section 4, Block III, Hetana Hamlet.
Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District (Borough of New Lynn) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34801)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128019, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby consent to the assignment to John Hedby Marshall, of Ashwick, Fairlie, Farmer, by Cora Feilden Hamilton, of Ashwick, Fairlie, Farmer, of her rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-sixth day of the same month, at page 540, authorizing her to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Constitution of Rural Fire District

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of December, 1948
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council
Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby constitute and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a rural fire district, to be known as the "Tautuku Rural Fire District"; and doth hereby specify the trees and other plants on scenic reserves situated in the said area as the property for the protection of which the district is constituted; and doth hereby specify the period between the first day of August in any one year and the thirtieth day of April in the following year (both days inclusive) as a closed fire season in the said district; and doth hereby prescribe that the said district shall be administered for the purposes of the said Act by the Commissioner of State Forests; and doth hereby further declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the day following publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE
Otago Land District.-Southland Conservancy Tautuku Rural Fire District
All that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, containing approximately 4,500 acres, situated in Blocks IX and X, Woodland Survey District, Blocks IV and VIII, Tautuku Survey District, and Block XV, Rimu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west by the Fleming River to a point opposite the westernmost corner of Section 10, Block VIII, Tautuku Survey District; thence by the crossing of a public road, Sections 9 and 11, the crossing of a public road, Sections 37, 31, 32, 33, and 34, the crossing of a public road, Sections 28, 29, a road, and 25, all in Block VIII, Tautuku Survey District, by the crossing of a public road, Sections 5 and 6, Block IV, Tautuku Survey District; towards the west generally by Section 6, Block IV aforesaid, the crossing of a public road, Section 7, the crossing of a public road, Sections 30 and 24, all of Block IV aforesaid, and the crossing of the Tahakopa Valley Road; towards the south-west by the Tahakopa Valley Road; towards the north-west by Section 19, Block IV aforesaid, to and across the Tahakopa River to its left bank; towards the north generally by the left bank of the Tahakopa River, the right bank of the Maclennan River, and by a railway reserve to the north-eastern corner of Section 3, Block IX, Woodlands Survey District; thence by the crossing of a public road, Section 8, the crossing of a public road, Sections 24 and 18, all in Block IX aforesaid, and by the crossing of a public road; towards the north-east by Sections 33, 17, and 21, Block X, Woodlands Survey District; towards the east by the eastern side of a public road, and by McCormack Creek to the Pacific Ocean; towards the south and south-east by the Pacific Ocean; and towards the south-west by the Tautuku River. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 218/22, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
