Pursuant to the authority conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, and section forty of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the undermentioned land is available for disposal as a site for commercial or industrial purposes.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the Wellington Land District, City of Lower Hutt, containing 18·15 perches, being Sections 11 and 14, Block XXXI, Hutt Valley Settlement, situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District.

Temp. Major E. G. Kedgley ceases to be seconded to the Tauranga College Cadets, Area 2, and is posted to the Retired List with the rank of Major. Dated 1st April, 1948.

Appointment of Government Representation to Tokoroa Rural Fire Committee
In pursuance of regulation 3 (e) of the Tokoroa Rural Fire Committee Regulations made by Order in Council dated 17th day of November, 1948, and published in Gazette No. 59 of 18th November, 1948, at page 1398, the Commissioner of State Forests doth hereby appoint the District Electrical Engineer, State Hydro-electric Department, Hamilton, as a member of the Tokoroa Rural Fire Committee as representative of the New Zealand Government.
