His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for Catchment Board buildings : And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the South Canterbury Catchment Board :

Now, therefore His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the South Canterbury Catchment Board.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as reserves for municipal purposes : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akitio :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akitio, in trust, for municipal purposes.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :

“The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Chancery Street fronting Allotment 12, Section 4, City of Auckland.”
