DECLARATION BY AN ASSISTANT REGISTRAR DISSOLVING A SOCIETY
I, LEONARD GRAY TUCK, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that MOUNT EDEN BOYS' BRASS BAND (INCORPORATED) is no longer in operation, the aforesaid society is dissolved as from the date of this declaration in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that the declaration made by me on the 23rd day of August, 1948, dissolving the WELLINGTON CITIZENS' ANNIVERSARY REGATTA COMMITTEE (INCORPORATED) was made in error, and the said declaration is accordingly hereby revoked in pursuance of section 28, subsection (3), of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waimate United Friendly Societies' Dispensary Friendly Society, Register No. 398, held at Waimate, is dissolved by instrument, registered at this office, the 23rd day of November, 1948, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having a claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.

Notice of Intention to Take Land under the Public Works Act, 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Napier Borough Council proposes to execute a certain public work-namely, the widening of a public street, to wit, Thackeray Street in the Borough of Napier-and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Napier Borough Council, Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Napier Borough Council, Tennyson Street, Napier.
THE SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situate at Thackeray Street, in the Borough of Napier, containing three decimal eight perches (3.8 perches), being parts Lots 1 and 2 on Deposited Plan 251, being part of Town Section 355, Napier, being part of the land in certificate of title, H.B. Vol. 47, folio 284. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited for inspection as aforesaid, and thereon coloured blue.
