Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the part of the Featherston Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—PART OF FEATHERSTON DOMAIN
All that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 15·36 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2 as shown on the plan numbered 18591, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and being part Section 152, Town of Featherston, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 388, folio 10 (Wellington Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/752c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 18th day of November, 1948.
