Land Taken at Fox Glacier for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Government Railways Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of piece of land: 3 roods 9·8 perches.
Being portion of Section 2713, Block XIII, Waiho Survey District.
Situated in Westland County. (S.O. 4478.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.O. 9588, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of November, 1948.

Land Taken for a Post-office in the Borough of Port Chalmers

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 36·5 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 6191, being part Section 12, Sawyer’s Bay District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 325, folio 155 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of November, 1948.

Land Taken for a Public School in the Borough of Hastings

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127937, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of November, 1948.
