A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for irrigation purposes.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of January, 1948.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Foxton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 42 of the thirty-first day of the same month, at page 927, taking land for housing purposes in the Borough of Foxton, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land no longer required : 3 acres 2 roods 16 perches.

Being Town Sections 10, 11, and 12, Township of Foxton, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 26, folio 294 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of February, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
