Additional Land Taken for Public Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of Hastings

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 10·44 perches.
Being Lot 7, Deeds Plan 113, part Subdivision E, Heretaunga Block (Borough of Hastings). (S.O. 2331.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127826, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of November, 1948.

Land Taken for a Worker’s Dwelling in the County of Clifton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a worker’s dwelling and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clifton as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire-brigade station and shall vest in the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 16·9 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 20454, being part Fairburn’s Old Land Claim 269A.
