SITTINGS IN BANCO AND IN CHAMBERS
Sittings of the Court in Banco will be held at the Courthouse,
AUCKLAND, WELLINGTON, CHRISTCHURCH, and DUNEDIN, every
Wednesday, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon, except during vacation
or the absence of the Judge, or unless the Judge is engaged on other
business.
Sittings in Chambers will be held at the Judge's Chambers in
the Courthouse, CHRISTCHURCH and DUNEDIN, every Tuesday and
Friday at 10 o'clock in the foreenoon, and at AUCKLAND and
WELLINGTON every Friday at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, except
during vacation or the absence of the Judge, or unless the Judge
is engaged on other business.
Sittings in Banco and in Chambers at other times and in
vacation, in respect of urgent business, may be held at such times
and places as may suit the convenience of the Judge. In all other
cities and towns in which sittings of the Court are held, such business
in Banco and in Chambers as the Judge shall allow may be disposed
of in the course of these sittings, at such days and hours as the
Judge may appoint.
PROVISION AS TO HOLIDAYS
If any of the days above appointed for sittings shall be a public
holiday, the sittings shall commence on the first day after the day
so appointed which is not a holiday. It shall be lawful for any one
or more Judges of the Supreme Court to order that the Supreme
Court and the offices thereof at any place shall be closed for any
public or proclaimed holiday in the district.

Price Order No. 945 (Amending Price Order No. 128) (Eggs)
P URSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and
Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 945, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 128* (hereinafter
referred to as the principal Order). -
This Order shall come into force on the 8th day of November, 1948.

The Second and Third Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 918†, are hereby revoked, and the following
Schedules substituted therefor respectively:

Price Order No. 947 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 921)
(Retail Groceries and Other Goods)
P URSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal,
acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and
Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 947, and shall be
read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 921* (herein-
after referred to as the principal Order). -
This Order shall come into force on the 8th day of
November, 1948. -
Subclause (1) of clause 3 of the principal Order is hereby
amended by omitting from the definition of the term "Prevailing
wholesale price" the words "for the time being authorized", and
substituting the words "authorized at the time of purchase by the
retailer". -
The Schedule to the principal Order is hereby amended as
follows :—
(a) By omitting the words "Other than salmon" where they
appear under the heading "Fish, canned—", and sub-
stituting the words "All other canned fish and canned-fish
pie".
(b) By adding after the word "Household" where it appears
under the heading "Soap" the word "bar", and by
adding after the word "Powder" where it appears under
the said heading the words "or flakes".
