Price Order No. 948 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 904) (Chocolates)
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 948, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 904* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

This Order shall come into force on the 8th day of November, 1948.

The principal Order is hereby amended by inserting in the Schedule thereto under the appropriate headings the kind of chocolate and the prices set out in the Schedule hereto.

Price Order No. 946 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 920) (Wholesale Groceries and Other Goods)
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 946, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 920* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

This Order shall come into force on the 8th day of November, 1948.

The Schedule to the principal Order is hereby amended as follows:
(a) By omitting the words “Other than salmon” where they appear under the heading “Fish, canned—”, and substituting the words “All other canned fish and canned-fish pie”.
(b) By omitting all the items in paragraph (a) appearing under the heading “Foods”.
(c) By omitting the references to “Molasses”, and substituting the references set out hereunder:

Pharmacy Industry
R. F. D. Crosby, 150 Mount Smart Road, Onehunga, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Oranga Avenue (to the west of Waitangi Road), Auckland.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application should, not later than 11th November, 1948, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. M. I. Furniss, 13 Purser Grove, Lower Hutt, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed garage and service-station premises at Birch Street, Lower Hutt.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application should, not later than 18th November, 1948, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in the Public Trustee by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand does hereby appoint Douglas Lancelot Overbye, of the Public Trust Office, Palmerston North, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Te Aroha, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.
