APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a new certificate of title in the name of GEORGE PARKER SMITH, of Waipawa, Labourer, for 35·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 11 on Deeds Plan 420, part of Block 45, Patangata Crown Grant District, and being the balance of the land in certificate of title, H.B. Vol. 72, folio 15 (limited as to parcels), subject to the fencing covenant contained in Deed No. 60841, and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the new certificate of title as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

I, ERWIN SHARMAN MOLONY, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the NAPIER LIEDERTAFEL SOCIETY (INCORPORATED) 1925/5 and the TIKIKINO RABBIT ASSOCIATION (INCORPORATED) 1920/2 are no longer carrying on operations, the aforesaid societies are hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roads and Bridges Renewal Loan, 1948, £5,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of £5,500, authorized to be raised by the Waipa County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of the Roads and Bridges Loan No. 2, 1936, £54,600, issue £9,500, the said Waipa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifty-two one-thousandths of a penny (⁵²⁄₁₀₀₀ d.) in the pound upon the rateable (unimproved) value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Waipa ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Waipa County Council held on Monday, the 18th October, 1948.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of members and creditors of the above-named company, held at 706 New Zealand Insurance Building, Auckland, on 14th January, 1948, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—

THE RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROADS AND CLOSE PORTIONS OF ROADS
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Counties Act, 1920.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, altering the course of the road—and for the purpose of such public work the various lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken ; and, further, that it is proposed to close the various portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
Notice is further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken for roads and the portions of road proposed to be closed are deposited in the public offices of the Clerk to the said Council at Ngaruawahia, and at the offices of Messieurs Tompkins and Wake, Solicitors, Wesley Chambers, Victoria Street, Hamilton, and are open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands or by the closing of the said roads who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or to the closing of the said roads must state their objections in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice—that is, on or before the 30th day of November, 1948, to the Raglan County Council at Council Chambers, Waingaro Road, Ngaruawahia.
