Land Taken for Electric Works in the Borough of Napier

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
electric works and shall vest in the Hawke's Bay Electric-power
Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127492, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of October, 1948.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the development of water-power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato
River Power Scheme).

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:-

0 1 0 Section 31, Town of Oruatua; coloured yellow.
0 1 0 Section 34, Town of Oruatua; coloured blue.
Situated in Block IV, Tokaanu Survey District (Auckland

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123179, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Easement for Waterworks Taken Over Land in Blocks I, II, and VI, Waiopéhu Survey District, Horowhenua County

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that an easement for waterworks is hereby taken over the land described in the
Schedule hereto vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Levin (hereinafter referred to as the Corporation) full
and free right and liberty forever to maintain without hindrance a line of water-pipes over and under each of the said pieces of land, and
to use such water-pipes for the purpose of conveying water, and granting unto the Corporation full and free right and liberty for itself, its
surveyors, workmen, agents, employees, servants, and licensees from time to time and at all times to open up, remove, or replace the
said water-pipes as often as occasion shall require for the purpose of inspecting, cleansing, amending, renewing, or repairing the said pipes
and/or maintaining the same in good and satisfactory repair, order, and condition; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
