Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori
Land Amendment Act, 1936

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section five of the Maori Purposes Act, 1939, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I
of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
LOT 1 on D.P. 34663, containing 1,497 acres, being parts of
Kohatutaka 2 and 6A Blocks, and situated in Blocks V and VI,
Punakitere Survey District, and being part of the land contained
in Certificates of Title, Volume 640, folio 141, and Volume 252,
folio 268 (Auckland Registry).
Lot 2 on D.P. 34663, containing 34 acres 1 rood 30 perches,
being part of Kohatutaka 2 Block, and situated in Block V,
Punakitere Survey District, and being part of the land contained
in Certificate of Title, Volume 640, folio 141 (Auckland Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of October, 1948.

for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act, 1924.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land declared to be Crown
land :-

0 1 11·35 Lot 5, D.P. 7536, being part Allotment 16,
Section 48, Village of Onehunga.

Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District (Borough of
Onehunga) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35199.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127685, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1948.
