A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
1580 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 22729, being part Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei.
Situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District (Borough of
Whangarei) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35233.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127762, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of October, 1948.

Crown Land Set Apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State
forest.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.-NELSON CONSERVANCY
All that area in the Nelson Land District, Takaka County,
containing by admeasurement 1,038 acres, more or less, being Lot 2
of Section 4, Block II, Flora Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on plan No. 102/18, deposited in the Head
Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 8339.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of September, 1948.

in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 128/25,
deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 28th day of September, 1948.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of
September 1948.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section two hundred and forty-six of the Maori
Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
doth hereby authorize the disposition to and acquisition by Evelyn
Mary Mitchell, Married Woman, of Hinakura, by way of lease of
the land described in the Schedule hereto notwithstanding the
provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land containing 189 acres 0 roods 9 perches,
more or less, being part of the Pahapa 44 Block, situated in Block IV,
Waipawa Survey District, and being part of the land comprised
and described in Certificate of Title, Register-book, Volume 215,
folio 25 (Wellington Registry), and being the whole of the land
comprised and described in Lease No. 20326 and in Leasehold
Certificate of Title, Register-book, Volume 445, folio 1 (Wellington
Registry).
