PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 94 of the third day of the same month at page 2619, taking land for a further portion of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway (part Waiotira Section), in so far as it affects the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto.
