A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods
1Β·66 perches.

Being Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block XXXVIII, Town of Waitara
East.

Situated in the Borough of Waitara (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O.
8295.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127676, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 20th day of September, 1948.

Land Taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes (Postmaster's Residence)
in the Town of Havelock

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.

Being Section 12, Block XXXII, Town of Havelock, and being the
whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of
Title, Volume 209, folio 104 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of September, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
development of water-power (Highbank Power Scheme); and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken
for the development of water-power over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free
liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents,
and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over
the said land and to maintain, renew, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land first
described in the First Schedule hereto.
