A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and forty-nine of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 2 roods 18.4 perches.

Being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 2163, being parts Karaka No. 2 Block (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4452.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127387, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
