A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground and shall vest in the Otorohanga Town Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 10·5 perches.
Being part Allotment 9, Block XVII, D.P. 19460, Otorohanga Maori Township.

Situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33618.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127675, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of September, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, together with the right-of-way created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 201316, Auckland Land Registry, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby taken for a parking-place, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
