for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
33·1 perches.
Being Lot 17, D.P. 27258, being part Allotment 47, Parish of
Titirangi.

Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 34661.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126515,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1948.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126556, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks III and IV, Belmont
Survey District, and Block X, Paekakariki Survey District—viz.,
a Deviation of the Haywards-Paremata Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the middle-line of a road in Blocks III and IV, Belmont Survey
District, and Block X, Paekakariki Survey District—viz., a
deviation of the Haywards-Paremata Main Highway—shall be
that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

COMMENCING at the point of termination of the middle-line defined by
Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette No. 51 of the 25th day
of July, 1946, at page 1014, opposite Lot 2, D.P. 12488, on the existing
Haywards-Paremata Main Highway distant 280 links south of the
southern boundary of Section 453, Hutt District, delineated on S.O.
plan No. 20267, Block IV, Belmont Survey District; thence proceeding
in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of 2 miles
20 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands,
&c., viz.: Part Sections 14, 7, 1, and 8, Block IV, Belmont Survey
District; part Section 63, Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve,
Block IV, Belmont Survey District; part Sections 8 and 9,
Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve, Block X, Paekakariki Survey
District; and terminating at a point on the western boundary of
the said Section 9, Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve, Block X,
Paekakariki Survey District.; including all adjoining and intervening
places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and
watercourses: all in the Wellington Land District. As the same
is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126646, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1948.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out in Block XII, Mangaoporo Survey
District, Gisborne Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was,
by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the ninth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, duly
laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section seven of the Maori
Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1923:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the
public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a
public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded
to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-
six of the Maori Land Act, 1931:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by
the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned
in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven
of the Maori Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should
be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four
hundred and eighty-seven of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby
proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
10 acres 0 roods 10 perches.
Passing through or adjoining Poroporo A 1 to A 7, A 8A, and A 9 to
A 12 Blocks.

Situated in Block XII, Mangaoporo Survey District. (S.O. plan
4427.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3014, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
under No. 2981, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1948.
