RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Renewal Loan, 1947, £6,900

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Wairoa Borough Council resolves as follows :-

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,900, authorized to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the renewal of the Wairoa Borough Council Housing Loan, 1938, the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·692d. in the pound upon the value of all rateable property of the Wairoa Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Wairoa ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 28th day of August of each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one and a half years or until the loan is paid off."
