THE WELLINGTON EDUCATION BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928
N OTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Wellington requires to take the land described in the Schedule hereto. The land is required for the purposes of a public work—namely, for the extension of a public-school site.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the above-mentioned Board at his office at 65 Abel Smith Street, Wellington.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing three acres (3 acres), more or less, being Lot 2, shown on Deposited Plan 518, and being part of Section 50, District of Wairau West, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 15, folio 297 (Marlborough Registry).

N OTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, the final meeting of members of New Zealand Automobiles Realization, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held at the registered office of the company, 63 Cathedral Square, Christchurch, on Monday, 30th August, 1948, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council has, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, executed a certain public work—namely, the realignment of a portion of Sturges Road adjoining the piece of land referred to hereunder in the Waipareira Riding of the county—and for such purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at the Council Chambers, 1 Princes Street, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

AREA required to be taken : 5·4 perches.
Being part Lot 26, D.P. 1467, being part Allotment 6A, Waipareira Parish, shown on Survey Office plan numbered 34161, and coloured yellow thereon.
Situated in the County of Waitemata and in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, and in the Land District of Auckland.

R OLL OF HONOUR published in 1924 by the DEFENCE DEPARTMENT, giving—
(1) A list of members of the 1st . New Zealand Expeditionary Force killed in action, died of wounds inflicted, of accidents occurring, or disease contracted while on active service.
(2) Those who died after discharge from the 1st New Zealand Expeditionary Force from wounds inflicted or disease contracted while on active service up to 31st December, 1923.
(3) Those who died from accident occurring or disease contracted while training with or attached to the 1st New Zealand Expeditionary Force of New Zealand.

UNDER the Regulations Act, 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:—
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription 30s. per annum in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 25s. (Volumes for years 1941 and 1942 are out of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, 42s. per annum in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
