Amending Speed Limitations imposed under the Motor-vehicles
Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3

IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act,
1936, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf,
the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the
Warrant dated the 21st day of December, 1936,* in so far as it
applies to the roads described in the First Schedule hereto, and
doth hereby exclude those portions of the roads which are described
in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed
by the said section.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaikohe Town District—

Waipapakauri–Maungatapere Main Highway No. 1 (all that
portion from a point 8 chains south of its junction with
the Waimamaku–Ohaeawai Main Highway to the southern
boundary of the Kaikohe Town District, a distance of
approximately 61 chains).

Waimamaku–Ohaeawai Main Highway No. 5 (all that portion
from the western boundary of Kaikohe Town District to
a point 6 chains west of the junction of the main highway
with Station Road, a distance of approximately 56 chains).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaikohe Borough—

Kaikohe–Maungatapere Main Highway No. 563 (all that
portion from a point 26 chains south of its junction with
the Waimamaku–Ohaeawai Main Highway to the southern
boundary of Kaikohe Borough, a distance of approximately
43 chains).

Waimamaku–Ohaeawai Main Highway No. 484 (all that
portion from the southern boundary of Kaikohe Borough
to a point 24 chains west of the junction of the said main
highway with Station Road, a distance of approximately
38 chains; and all that portion from the north-eastern
boundary of Kaikohe Borough to a point 23 chains east
of the junction of the said main highway with the Kaikohe–
Maungatapere Main Highway, a distance of approximately
50 chains).

PURSUANT to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regula-
tions 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel
to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to
the Department during the undermentioned period.

06′2 S. ; long., 174° 17′6 E. (approx.). Chart No. 2685.
Details : Experiments have now been completed, and the
light will be discontinued temporarily pending receipt of permanent
equipment from England. Further notice will be given when the
light is to be re-established.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under the Public
Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II (Unclaimed Lands)

WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for
the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908
(relating to unclaimed lands) made due inquiry with respect to the
lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts
of the owner thereof, and have in respect of the said lands given
the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act and have in all
respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto :
And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said
lands as required by that Act, I hereby give notice that the said
lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public
Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof,
and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908,
the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act
being less than five hundred pounds (£500).

THE SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 40 acres, more or less, being
the eastern portion of Allotment 45 of the Parish of Oruru, in the
County of Mongonui, bounded on the north and east by a public
road ; on the south by Allotment 44, 1370 links ; and on the west
by other portion of Allotment 45, 2880 links ; and by a public
road, 1131 links ; and being the whole of the land comprised in a
Crown grant dated the 4th day of May, 1864, the grantee whereof
is Richard Samuel Fry Parsons.
