rateable property of said Special-rating Area No. 14; and that
such rates shall be annual-recurring graduated special rates during
the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the lst day
of September in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off."

a duly convened special meeting of the Eltham Drainage Board
held at its office, High Street, Eltham, on Monday, the 28th day

resolution was passed:-
" That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that KEN-
NETH STEWART KELLY, of Te Awamutu, Public Accountant, be
and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding
up."

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works, Act, 1928, and the Acts
amending the same.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the
District of Canterbury, a body corporate under the Education
Act, 1914, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public
Works Act, 1928, and its amendments, for the purposes of a new
school-site, all that parcel of land situated in Block X of the
Christchurch Survey District, containing 4 acres 3 roods 27 perches,
being part Rural Section 12, and being that part of the land in
certificate of title, Vol. 223, folio 28, shown edged in yellow on a
plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch,
and therein numbered S.O. 7978.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the
land required to be taken and the names of the owners and occupiers
of such land is deposited at the offices of the Secretary of the
Education Board of the District of Canterbury, Oxford Terrace,
Christchurch, where it lies open for public inspection daily (without
fee) during all reasonable hours; and that all persons affected shall,
if they have any objections to the taking of such land, set forth
in writing such objection, and send such writing, within forty days
from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the
28th day of July, 1948, addressed to the Secretary, Education
Board of the District of Canterbury, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work-namely, the construction of a
public parking area within the Borough of Morrinsville—and for
the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the
Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in
Canada Street, Morrinsville, and is open for inspection (without fee)
by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same,
