Price Order No. 912 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 760)
(Superphosphate)
PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of
Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority
of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the
following amending Price Order:
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 912, and shall
be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 760*
(hereinafter referred to as the principal Order). - This Order shall come into force on the 29th day of July,
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the principal Order,
where a contract for the sale of any superphosphate to which that
Order applies has been entered into between the 30th day of June,
1948, and the date of the coming into force of this Order and the
superphosphate has not been delivered or paid for, the maximum
price that may be recovered under the contract in respect of the
sale of any such superphosphate shall be the appropriate price
specified in the Schedules to the principal Order as substituted by
clause 4 of this Order. - The principal Order is hereby amended by revoking the
First and Second Schedules thereto, and substituting the following
Schedules respectively:-

CROWN LANDS NOTICE
Town Lands in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 26th July, 1948.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are
open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act,
1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and
Survey Office, Wellington, up till 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 17th
September, 1948.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 22nd
September, 1948, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable
to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by
any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicants are required
to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising
the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting
for improvements.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LANDS
Rangitikei County.—Mangaweka South Township
SECTIONS 1–4, Block IV: Area, 1 acre 34 perches. Capital value,
£42; half-yearly rent, £1 1s.
Sections 6–9, Block IV: Area, 1 acre. Capital value, £33;
half-yearly rent, 16s. 6d.
Sections 1–4.—Weighted with £18 10s. for improvements,
comprising felling, grassing, and stumping, and 10½ chains of fencing
in fair order.
Sections 6–9.—Weighted with £16 15s. for improvements,
comprising felling, grassing, and stumping, and 9¼ chains of fencing.
These sums are payable in cash.
These sections are close to the Mangaweka Railway-station,
and about one mile from the business area of the town. They are
situated on a metalled road which branches off main highway to
the station. Suitable for grazing, but sections are fairly wet, due
mainly to bad drains on the road frontage and back boundary.
Any further information required may be obtained from the
undersigned.

Registry), in the name of CHARLES LIVINGSTONE FERGUSON,
of Gisborne, Confectioner, for 2 acres and 3 perches, more or less,
being Lot 17 on Deposited Plan No. 1285, part of Matawhero B or 5
Block, situate in Bulwer Road in the Borough of Gisborne, and
application (W. 2053) having been made for the issue of a new
certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice of my intention
to issue such new certificate of title on the expiration of fourteen
days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
