Notice of Low-flying Area

IT is hereby notified that low flying will take place at periods in the area known as the “Ohakea Low-flying Area,” being the area described in the Schedule hereunder. All aircraft using this area will be duly authorized for this purpose by the Commanding Officer, R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Ohakea.

SCHEDULE

THAT area commencing at the mouth of the Rangitikei River and following the sea-coast in a southerly direction for a distance of 29 miles to the mouth of the Wairongomai Stream; thence on a bearing of 122° T. for a distance of 2·5 miles to Lake Waitawa; thence on a bearing of 027° T. for a distance of 9 miles to the centre of Lake Horowhenua; thence on a bearing of 003° T. for a distance of 10 miles to a point 1 mile west of Foxton; thence on a bearing of 023° T. for a distance of 13 miles to a placed called “Blueskin” at the junction of the Main North Road and Rosina Road; thence on a bearing of 267° T. to the point of commencement at the mouth of the Rangitikei River.
