SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- THIS licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of August, 1948.
- The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling (1s.), payable on demand.
- The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister, or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Portion of Mayfield Domain set apart as a Site for a Public Hall

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-two of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that that portion of the Mayfield Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from and after the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, be set apart as a site for a public hall.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the County of Ashburton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being part of Reserve 4151, situated in Block VIII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/794A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Canterbury S.O. plan 7962.)

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Christchurch City Council

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being lands reserved under the said Act) in the Christchurch City Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:—
- The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserves.
Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.
- The said Council shall control the said reserves in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.

WHEREAS by Our Warrant dated the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, you, the said Sir Harold Featherston Johnston, Alexander Wellington Croskery, Arthur James Dickson, and Charles Alexander Woolley
were appointed under the authority of the Letters Patent of His late Majesty dated the eleventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and under the authority of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1908, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, to be a Commission of Inquiry for the purposes in the said Warrant duly set out :
And whereas by Our said Warrant you were required to report not later than the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, your findings and opinions on the matters referred to you :
And whereas by Our further Warrant dated the twenty-first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, the time within which you were so required to report was extended until the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight :
And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting should be further extended as hereinafter provided :
Now, therefore, We do hereby extend until the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, the time within which you are so required to report :
And we do hereby confirm the said Commission and the two respective Warrants hereinbefore referred to except as altered by these presents.
