Declaring a Portion of Railway Land near Ngaruawahia to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 0 roods 8·13 perches. Being part Lot 4, D.P. 24890, being part Section 554, Suburbs of Newcastle South, in Certificate of Title, Volume 652, folio 236.
Situated in Block VIII, Newcastle Survey District, Borough of Ngaruawahia. (S.O. 33604.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9385, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of July, 1948.

Additional Land near Wiri taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 52 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 28051, being part Clendon’s Grant, and being the balance of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 707, folio 220 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land containing 67 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 28051, being part Clendon’s Grant, and being the balance of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 707, folio 221 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land containing 9 acres 2 roods 34·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 28571, being part Clendon’s Grant, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 712, folio 221 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land containing 2 acres 0·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 28571, being part Clendon’s Grant, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 741, folio 113 (Auckland Registry).
Situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau County.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9401, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of July, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Waverley Substation); and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from
