Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licences under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

F. F. Hale and J. Wilson, Rata Motors, Rata Street, Eastbourne, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside garage premises in Rata Street, Eastbourne.

V. W. M. Cassin, Wallis Street, Raglan, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Wallis Street, Raglan.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 29th July, 1948, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Acting-Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3023, Wellington.

Election of Producers’ Representatives on the Nelson District Hop Marketing Committee

Pursuant to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, notice is hereby given that a copy of the roll of producers qualified to vote at the elections to be held on the second Wednesday in the month of August, 1948, of producers' representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee established by the said regulations, have been deposited for public inspection during ordinary office hours for a period of seven days from the 21st day of July, 1948, at the post-offices mentioned hereunder:

Upper Moutere.

Declaring Land to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

Pursuant to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Korohe Development Scheme.

ALL that area of land in the Aotea Maori Land Court District, containing 93 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, called or known as Hautu 2B 1B 2A 3, and situate in Block XI, Puketi Survey District.

Declaring Land to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

Pursuant to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Manawatu Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Ikaroa Maori Land Court District, containing 144 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, called or known as Lot 11, D.P. 4642, being parts of Sections 313, 314, and 316, Township of Carnarvon, situate in Blocks X and XIV, Te Kawau Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 376, folio 94 (Wellington Registry).

ALL that area of land in the Aotea Maori Land Court District, containing 264 acres 2 roods 23 perches, more or less, called or known as Subdivision F, Sections 2 and 4, Blocks II and III, Oeo Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 150, folio 274 (Taranaki Registry).

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 16th day of September, 1930, and published in Gazette No. 66 of the 25th day of September, 1930, at page 2850, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Mangonui Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Tokerau Maori Land Court District, containing 2 acres, more or less, called or known as Pukekahikatoa 1B 2A, and situate in Block XI, Takahue Survey District.
