ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
July, 1948
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the
Bulls Town Board on the fourteenth day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-seven, in so far as it affects the sides and
portions of the streets described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :
—
“ That the Bulla Town Board, being the local authority
having the control of the streets hereinafter mentioned, hereby
resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the western portion of Daniell Street and the northern
portion of Criterion Street adjoining Sections 13, 16, 17, 18,
and 21, all land in D.P. 3236, being part Block 3, Rangitikei
District, Block XI, Rangitoto Survey District, of the Town
of Bulls, as shown on this plan ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of
the portion of Daniell Street or the northern side of the portion
of Criterion Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a
distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions
of streets.

SCHEDULE
THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the Wel-
ington Land District, Town District of Bulls, known as Daniell
Street, fronting Section 13, Block A, Town of Bulls, D.P. 3236,
Block III, Rangitikei District.
Also the northern side of all that portion of street situated in
the said land district and town district, known as Criterion Street,
fronting Sections 13, 16, 17, 18, and 21, Block A, Town of Bulls,
D.P. 3236, Block III, Rangitikei District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 127069, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

July, 1948

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for public purposes :
And whereas it is expected that the purpose of the reservation over
such land shall be changed to a reserve for an addition to a
public-school site (Brown’s Bay) :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed
from a reserve for public purposes to a reserve for an addition to a
public-school site (Brown’s Bay).

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the County of Waitemata, situated in Block IV,
Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods
35·7 perches, more or less, being Lot 50 as shown on the plan
numbered 15800, deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Auckland, and being part of Allotment 263, Parish
of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 1/1116, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

whereas it is expected that the purpose of the reservation over
such lands shall be changed to reserves for access-way purposes:

consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-
section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed
from reserves for plantation purposes to reserves for access-way
purposes.

ALL those areas in the County of Franklin situated in Blocks IX
and X, Awhitu Survey District, containing by admeasurement a
total of 1 rood 12·6 perches, more or less, being Lots 27 and 81, as
shown on the plan numbered 18680, deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being parts of Allot-
ment 11, Parish of Kahawai. As the same are more particularly
delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 6/1/769 and 6/1/769A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for metal purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby
declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land
available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
